I need advice on mini vans....please come in if you own either a Town and Country or Honda Odyssey.

Well our backs are up against the wall. We wanted to buy after the new year. I wanted to save more to put more down. But now our heating core went in our Durango for the SECOND time and our transmission is slowly going as well.

I dont know if we should rush into something now so we dont put the money in to the Durango..or fix the heater for now and save a little more for after the holidays.

My dh LOVES the Town and Country but I have heard better things about the Honda Odyssey. I am looking for TONS of storage..good on gas..comfortablity obviously.

Anyone have any experiences with either of these or advice as to what you would do. I am so stressed with this decision. I am a WRECK!!!

I think you can't go wrong with the Honda Odyssey-My DH calls it the rolls royce of mini vans.

If we weren't cheapo's we would have bought one (we have a kia mini van instead because it was dirt cheap-but we do like it.)

After doing some research on top-rated minivans, we are looking at either the Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey.

I know you didnt ask about it, but we just got the Nissan Quest about 2 weeks ago. They are NOT making the Quest for the 2010 year (but will be again in 2011) and I know at least 2 Nissan dealerships that are offering a great $3k rebate on whats left of the 2009's.

I like it. Rides good and its very comfy. I just dont like that its a minivan

We are starting our search for a bigger car now, so I am not of much help there, but I wanted to make sure you knew about the tax credit that you can take if you purchase before the end of the year.

You should be able to claim the NYS sales tax as a credit on your return next year, which is why we are pushing to buy before the end of the year.

In all seriousness Noreen, are you set on a minivan? Have you considered a crossover vehicle like a GMC Acadia or a Mazda CX-9?

As for the minivans, a friend of mine just got a Town and Country (they have 3 girls under the age of 5) and they absolutely love it. They always rave about it and are very happy with it.

OMG when we bought ours that's what DH's friend said.

We have a certified pre-owned 06 Odyssey. I love it. Roomy, lots of storage. I find it easy to drive.

we bought a honda odyssey this week and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!!! It is fabulous! We got it for $350 under invoice and just paid destination, tax, and DMV on it. Huntington Honda gave us the best price and were nice.

We just got the T&C in August and I have to say I absolutely love it!!!! The storage is excellent and the stow and go is so convenient and easy to do-you just flip the seat into the floor of the van! we also got a year free of satellite radio and nickolodean and cartoon network. It drives very well and is very comfortable!

We have an old Honda Odyssey (2002) that we got recently and we absolutely love it. It's made traveling long distances with the kids much easier and more comfortable. I still love my CR-V though. Honda's as a whole are very reliable - you can't go wrong with them

We just bought a Honda Odyssey. It is amazing, absolutely the best car/suv/mini van I have EVER owned. We are completely in love with our Odyssey.

We dealt with Vinny at Huntington Honda. He gave us a great deal for a loaded Odyssey.

I love, love, love my Odyssey. I have several friends who got the Town and Country this spring/summer when Chrysler was giving away some great deals. They really their vans, as well, though they would have gone for the Odyssey if $$ hadn't been a factor.
