I love my new monitor....

So I simply got the audio monitor because I feel as if I had gotten one of the video monitors I would have been up all night watching her.

I got the Fisher Price Private Connection with Dual Receivers monitor, and I have to say.... I love it! The clarity on it is wonderful... I charged up both handsets to make sure that they work and that the clarity would be acceptable, and they surpassed what I initially thought they would be/do....

Deb I have a question... In the manual, it says to let the chargers initially be on the juice for 10 hours to fully charge.

It says that once the charge diminishes tho, to only let them charge for 8 hours at a time.

But when you are in bed, and you have the monitor right next to you, and the baby is in another room (I know you aren't there yet) if you have the power on on the handset, but have it plugged in at the same time... do you think it's going to damage the receiver?

I leave then unplugged until they need more juice. If one dies I just use the other one until it charges or I leave it charging while it is on. I also dont always have them on yet. I only put them on when I am not in the room with him like when he is napping during the day or if I go into the shower. HTH

Okay... that's what I was thinking of doing as well. They work so well, I don't want to kill them too quickly...
