I know this sounds crazy...
I have been very fortunate to be able to work a lot from home lately. It has come in very handy... don't have to buy a bunch of work maternity clothes, can hang around in my comfy clothes all day long, don't have to do my hair/make-up. The list of pros goes on and on.
I have to say, though, that I am starting to miss human contact! I start talking to my cat or my stomach... and neither one of them talk back!
Don't get me wrong, I have less than 7 weeks left and am very thankful to not have to commute into the city every day, but I miss talking to people live and in person!!!

I can totally relate...I am home so much lately. DH called me this morning to tell me how bad it was and I told him, not to worry, I spoke to the cats and prepared them if we have to leave. It gets lonely being home.

Awwwwww. That's why I'm afraid of being home alone with the baby for so long. I might forget to be a human adult.

i am concerned also.. i love socializing.. i am off of work now. and i find myself talking to my dog all day long.. i love human contact

I am hoping that when the baby comes I will be able to go outside and go for walks, maybe get involved with other mothers for that adult human interaction!
With working from home, I can't just go outside and start talking to people, I actually have to work!!!
Oh the things I complain about sometimes... trust me I realize it could be much worse! I don't have it bad at all!

I'm up for mommy play groups!!!! I'm going to be in Middle Island. But some girls I know are in Seaford and Lindenhurst.
