I know this belongs on teachers bd but what can I make for my kids taking the ELA exam tomorrow?
I am thinking muffins for tomorrow and then some kid of cookies, brownies or cupcakes for tuesday....but it seems boring...I would love to be more creative....help!

When I took my AP tests a lot of the teachers would bring bagels

ETA: I figure since I am going no wehre until tomorrow and the mornings give me no time to pick up anything....what could I maekf ro my 3rd graders?
(I love bagels but don't know if they would!)

If this is for before the exam, I always suggest for my students to eat "brain power" food such as bananas or raisins.
I know a lot of my friends bring in M&M's or small candy bars for the kids to eat during the exams. To keep their endurance up.
If it is just a nice gesture for them working so hard, I think any kind of cookie would be loved!!

My ds is taking them tomorrow too! We did bagels last year and the kids LOVED it!!!!! I agree getting the bagels in the morning is a pita!! Tomorrow I am sending in all different boxes of cereal with milk, plastic bowls and spoons!!

I've done bagels. I'd be very hesitant to give them anything too sugary. Though I know when my students take theirs next week, most of them will have had their usual Cheetos and Coke for breakfast. My school has given out sugar-free gum the last couple years.
