I know it's early, but election day activities are desperately needed!
There were NO books in the teacher stores. Apparently, I am behind. So can you share activities or books? Thanks!

go to scholastic.com
they always have great election stuff as does timeforkids.com
also, i just deleted the e-mail from scholastic, butthey are selling election books for $2.99 each on-line. they have a K-2, 3-5, and a middle school version.

I just got the Teacher's Discovery catalog for social studies and they have TONS of stuff! Probably on their website, too. Most was for middle/high school, but I'm sure it could be adapted for younger grades.
I teach 12th grade government and always do a long-term mock election project (they create a party, write a platform, create propaganda, campaign ads, etc), but it was great to see so many other ideas in the catalog.
