I know it's been asked....
.... but what newborn diapers did you like best?
Does ANYONE use generic anymore? I feel like such a "label snob" when I exclusively look at pampers/huggies. Anyone a fan of the BRU brand?
We're trying to stock up now- getting ready for what's to come in the next month

Iused Saddlers.....just an FYI. My son who was almost 9 lbs was only in newborns for a few days, as was my friends son who was only just over 7lbs. you may not want to buy too much. plus you should take whatever is given to you by the hospital.

Same here. DD got a rash from anything else. Only the best for her tushie.

for NB I used pampers, I didnt like Huggies they were too bulky for my taste.
DS is now 4 months and I use Pampers of generic like CVS. I will use the generic during the day and pampers at night.
PS, I wouldnt go nuts getting lots of NB diapers, my DS was big and was out of NB as soon as his belly button feel off. You can get A lot from the hospital. Every night just take all the diapers from the cart and they will replace. Then before you leave ask them if you can have some more, the nurses gave us a ton of stuff.

We love Pampers, but I also find CVS to be pretty good too. I'm not a fan of Huggies for DD.

I had the Especially for Baby brand in the house left over from the diaper cakes I made at my shower so I felt that I should use them rather than letting them go to waste and honestly, I was SOOOO HAPPY when I used the last one because I hated them. I use Pampers.

We used (and still do) Pampers Swaddlers. I wouldn't get too many newborn size (and if you do get them do not open the package and keep the receipt in case you need to return them). My daughter went through about 100 newborn diapers (about 10 days) before she was in the size 1.

We used pampers swaddlers for the newborn size, but we made the switch to the BJ's brand diapers.

We used pampers swaddlers but never needed the newborn sized ones. DD 8 lbs 14 oz. They put her in size 1 at the hospital and we did the same. She was out of the size ones very quickly.

Joseph leaked through Pampers & Huggies, so we used Luvs.
For Maddie, Luvs didn't work but Huggies did.
I think it's really based on the build of the infant - which changes over time.

We just grew out of Newborns this Saturday....Pampers all the way. I tried a sample of Luvs and Huggies and did not like either.

ITA REBECCA!!!!!!!!!!!! Dad bought me a box of them when he came to meet K, and I HATE THEM!!! I am going to donate the rest of the box to goodwill!!!

Swaddlers. Huggies didn't work for DS at all, leaked like craxy, but try both. Some people love Huggies.
I haven't tried generics. I keep thinking I might, but DS seems fine with Pampers--no skin problems, few leaks, so I'm tempted to stick with what works.

OMG, total Pampers snob here! I've tried them ALL, and will not use anything other than Pampers, or maybe Luvs in a pinch when they are older. Hated generic ones.... So stiff, no gathers, etc.
