I know everyone's heard it all before...
But, please be careful.
match.com date rape trail
This is a trial one of my best friends testified for. Verdict just came back yesterday - he was charged on two counts of sexual assault, but acquitted of about 20 other counts including rape. He also faces another trial in Idaho and possibly charges on impersonating a federal agent.
He's extremely sick - I realize most people aren't this bad. But please take care.

There was a case like this in Philly, but on jdate.com, not match.com. The guy was using Rufies on his dates. One of the girls my brother dated was assaulted by him (boggles my mind that she continued with internet dating after it happened!)
I'm a huge proponent of online dating- it's how I met my husband - but, with that said, you have to be SO careful.

This is in Philly - it's probably the same guy. His name is Jeffrey Marsalis. If you do a search on his name tons of stuff comes up. My friend is the ex-fiance that testified against him. In this particular trial, there were 7 women who brought charges, but there was a previous trial where he was acquitted and one pending in Idaho. Who really knows how many women...!

Oops... didn't read the whole article - this is the same guy - don't know why I thought it was jdate?
From what my brother told me, the chick he dated said the same thing. She blacked out on their first date and woke up in bed next to him. He was charming and sweet, and they kept talking afterwards for a few weeks. It wasn't until much later that the memories started coming back to her, and then she was contacted by the Philly DA's office.
