I just watched some birthing videos on baby center
And I think I am even more freaked out now then I was before.
I am just so scared. Scared of not knowing what's going to happen. Scared that everything won't go right or that I won't be able to do it.
Who else feels this way and how do you get past the fear?

And being home means NOT STOPING thinking about it.
One minute Im ok , then the next Im so freaked out, I panic at the thought of it all.
Im terrified.
BUT It hink women do this, its one day of pain and think of the end result, just think of the end result.
And I can say once your in the situation and its happening, you dont feel as scared as you are now.
But NOW...YEP Im scared!
I got some meditation and calming books from the library...LOL To help calm me.
And I told you Im making a CD to listen to on the ride to the hospital of songs that calm or make me happy so I dont panic on the way there.

Exactly - and I thought watching the videos would help me --- but NOPE - just made it that much worse
I hate not knowing and having no control over things.
I just have to focus on the end result and the fact that he has to come out one way or another and I have no choice in the matter.

Well at first I was more scared but in all honesty, the doctors can handle almost anything these days so I am ready for whatever.

I just watched the C-section too since thats what I am having and all I can say is thank goodness for that curtain.

Those feelings are normal and by the time you actually realize you are in labor you wont even think about what you saw.
