I just thought this was funny
I had a customer who is traveling, but before he purchases his airline tickets he wanted information about checking his dog.
So my co-workers and I go into our global distribution system to look up the info for United Airlines. Info says call UA.
So we call.
You can no longer check your dogs in cargo, however you can bring your service monkey or miniture horse on board the aircraft with you.
How she said that with a straight face I have no idea because I couldnt stop laughing for 20 minutes.

thank god you posted this. DH and i were trying to figure out what we were going to do with them when we went away. now, we can jsut bring 'em with us

Just remember if you bring your service monkey according to TSA guidelines:
The monkey handler should carry the monkey through the WTMD while the monkey remains on a leash.

TSOs will conduct a visual inspection on the monkey and will coach the handler on how to hold the monkey during the visual inspection.
The inspection process may require that the handler take off the monkey’s diaper as part of the visual inspection
I gotta ask DH later if he ever had to inspect a service monkey

I know. I couldnt stop laughing all day. How the UA agent said all of this with a straight face I'll never know.
A guy I work with said he did too. Then he was knocking things over and would yell "wheres my service monkey"
