I HATE Hiccups
I have a thousand phone calls to make today & I have had a really bad case of the hiccups for almost 2 hours. My stomach is actually starting to hurt from it

DH gets them like that -- it's the worst. 
You probably tried everything, but one thing that works for me is to take 7 sips of a liquid in row with out taking a breath in between.
My sister stretches out her diaphram by strething her arms straight out and back and taking a deep breath.

I always get hiccups, they don't last very long, but they are so annoying. Have you tried eating a pack of sugar? That and holding my breath works for me.

OK I did the 7 sips of water while holding my breath thing & so far so good
