I guess I'm happy for DH, but I'm sad!
My DH and I both teach in the same school. My principal knows he has been wanting to get into the middle school and has applied every year, but b/c of budget issues etc. there was never an opportunity.
Well, I was up at school interviewing candidates today with my principal and she asked me if my DH was still interested in going to the middle school. She said she would call the principal there and ask him for a transfer b/c there is a teacher in the middle school who wants to come back to the elementary level. I told her I love having him in the same building as me and she said that if I wanted him not to transfer, not to mention anything to him and she'd keep it a secret .
Well, I couldn't do that to my husband- put my own happiness infront of his and I told him. He's going to speak with her tomorrow.
On the positive side to this if he gets it, he will be home earlier to get Bella and the one day that we have someone watch her we would save some money b/c she wouldn't be there as long.
Please keep your fingers crossed for the right thing to happen.
