i got two choices for my mothers day gift.. which would you choose?
MY dh said we are going away for a night fo rmy rmothers day gift. I can
1) go to mohegan sun/ foxwoods and mystic for a 2 day one night trip or
2) we can go to a shoe in the city of my choice have a nice fancy dinner and stay over if i want.
I am leaning more towards ct becasue personally i cant see spending sooo much $$ on a city hotel when 1) i dont like the city 2) we live in Douglaston about 20 minutes from the city so why pay ,money , a lot of money at that to be 20 miutes from home. 3) Although we have been to CT a bunch of time together it was always for my birthday which is in december so we never got to do mystic so i thouht it would be fun.
Thast my take but i havent made a final decsion yet what would you choose?

I think it sounds like you made your choice. Have a great time in CT!
Given the choice, I would probably pick CT since I could stay in the city anytime I wanted.

I'd go to the city, but I don't really like casinos and I thought Mystic was awful. But if you do a search on Travel a lot of people seem to like it.

I would go with the first one - it may feel like more of a vacation (even if for only one night)

yeah i think i have made my decision but we havent booked anything yet so i just wanted to get some other input. I think i am going to go for teh trip to CT.
