I got my 2nd beta results, and I think they're good...
but I have a little question.
First the #s...
#1: 4 wks 1 day (14 dpo)
hcg=354
progesterone=32.9
#2: 5 weeks (20 dpo)
hcg=2902
progesterone=28.4
I've never had my beta done in the past, but since the miscarriage, I wanted to be cautious (meanwhile, doesn't it make you nuts?!  ).
I didn't get the results from my doctor, but from a woman in the office. I told her that the doctor didn't need to call me back unless she felt it was necessary, but.... Now I'm wondering if the dip in the progesterone is normal. I *think* it can fluctuate typically.
So...IS it normal?

yes, progesterone goes up and down especially since your pregnant...those numbers look good! my beta was 120 at 5 weeks, so yours def. looks good!

Progesterone fluctuates daily and also based on the time of the day. Unless your progesterone is below the recommended level (which it isn't) than you are ok

You're hcG was 354 at only 14DPO???!!!  Holy cow!!...............I would prepare myself for when they say you're having twins or triplets with those hcG numbers right out of the gate!!

Progesterone does fluctuate and a level of 28 is very good! Congrats!

Thank you all! I will cautiously add myself to the due date list, I think. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts...
And twins?! My DH would pass dead away!

yes it does fluctuate. I wouldn't worry unless they call you and tell you its too low, then they will probably have you use progesterone suppositories.
