I forgot to post this the other day..cute thing DH did for the kids
So Tuesday we went to the doctor for a well visit for both kids. DS needed a shot and they both received the finger prick for a lead test. So I sent DH to Target to get DS diapers and he comes home a few minutes after me and he brings DS a car and he brings DD a stuffed carebear. My first reaction when I saw it before he said anything was "another stuffed animal  " but then he said "I got her a Carebear so it could care for her since she got pricked today"  I thought that was so sweet.

I'll see if he will do housecalls  ...my only advice on the prick test is see if they can do it on their big toe for your little guys. They did that for DD who is 9 months old and it she didn't cry until they squeezed her toe to get the blood out. They did DS's who is 2 on his finger and I really thought they were going to break his finger or hand because they had to really hold him to try and the get the blood on the disk. Not to mention he was bleeding all over, the floor, on the nurse. GL!
