I feel another asthma attack coming on...
Emily had a horrible day --- and I thought she was just being cranky and diva-ish. We went to the mall with my mom to get her new sneakers and also to go shopping for my niece's birthday which is this sunday. We have all had a bit of a runny nose, cough, and Emily was throwing temper tantrums all over the place, but I just thought she was being a diva as she sometimes can be, and maybe a little extra cranky from the cold and teething.
Well tonight she is breathing heavy and wheezing again. We gave her the nebulizer 2x before bed because it wasn't HORRIBLe yet, and then I'll call the dr in the AM to bring her in first thing. I'm just hoping that we get through the night OK and don't need to take her to the ER again ---- so hopefully it won't get too bad.
Seriously, I don't mind my daughter inheriting any number of my DH's genes .... his height, love of reading, musical talent, sensitive heart....but WHY ON WHY did she have to inherit his asthma?

 Poor Emily! Poor Mommy! Hopefully its just her cold bothering her, and she'll have a peaceful night!
BTW- can we see some Emily pics!!!??

I know that it is just the cold --- but that's what brings it on. It totally stinks because we've had so many colds this year. That is how my DH's really bad attacks come on too, from bad colds. If you think about it I've been wheezing with my cold that I've had for nearly 2 weeks now, that is just a "virus" according to the doctor --- and I have healthy healthy lungs. For an asthmatic it is just so bad.
I don't have any more recent pics then the one that's in my avatar that I posted a few weeks ago, but I can show you them if you want!
