I can't express how proud I am to be part of Rhode Island...
For the past 3 days, the citadel radio stations out here have been having a Hasbro Cure Kids Cancer radiothon...raising money to benefit the Hasbro Childrens Hospital out here in Rhode Island...
The total amount raised is $875,144.72
ITs been a gruelling 3 days to listen to the radio...they have talked to survivors, patients, parents who lost their children...at times I had to shut off the radio because it just was so difficult to listen to, and I cannot imagine ever having to find out that your child has cancer...
