I am still confused by the month thing...
I am 18 w, 3 days. I thought I was starting my fifth month (according to What to Expect, 18-22 weeks is month 5) but my friend told me I'm wrong, I'm only 4 months pregnant? Is this right?

I've given up the month counting thing. I go by weeks. It's so confusing.

I go by the weeks also - like now i am 24 weeks so i say i am six months. when i was 23 weeks i said to a saleslady in gap maternity that i was in my 6th month and another preggo girl who was due a few weeks before me corrected me! So now i learned my lesson

I use www.i-am-pregnant.com, it gives you a breakdown of where you are....
Also, the What to Expect When Expecting Book is broken up by month......

4 months pregnant..but you are in your 5th month...
Im 22 weeks 4 days...Im 5 months but in my 6th month.

yep that's correct. I screwed up as soon as I ended my third month I was telling people I was 4 months pregnant. I was just really excited. My mom told me I was wrong and I felt so stupid. It is confusing though.

I am 27 weeks - so I am in my 7th month but am 6 months preggo.
