I am planning his first bday party...any suggestions of places to buy from?
I'm doing a bbq in NY where all the family lives, and I am in VA.
I am doing a backyardigans theme...kind of...I don't want to go super crazy with everything backyardigans.
I've begun my reasearch but can anybody point me to a site that has affordable party supplies?
And any ideas for favors? I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate but its september and outdoors..don't want it to melt...

I did candy bars with the wrappers having DS's picture on it. The party was in early June. I kept them in the fridge and took them out an hour before I handed them out...
As for affordable birthday party sites well I haven't really seen any great ones but try

I get my stuff from Oriental Trading or
Star Track inc . Star Track is in Farmingdale so shipping isn't a lot.
It's open during the week & you can see everything in person.
