I am in Pain!
On Friday, my back started to hurt a little, I figured it would "go away"..just stiff.
Yesterday AM I could not get out of bed..I was in tears.
Today, same thing. Ive tried HOT showers, heating pads, tylenol..
Any other recommendations? I think tomorrow im off to Dr.
I cannot take anything but Tylenol, but, I need something a heck of a lot stronger
The pain is so bad its going down my right leg.
Sorry for the "vent", but ty and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had something very similar a few weeks ago! I got muscle relaxers from my Doctor and that, a heating pad, and a few days it just went away.

It sounds like sciatica. I know you've tried heat, but try alternating 10 minutes of heat, 10 minutes of ice, and back and forth for an hour. It really does help. I have terrible back problems and they're only worse now that I am pregnant. When I'm not prego, it's so bad that only muscle relaxers and heavy pain killers can help it (when it acts up). Feel better!

Can you try something other than Tylenol? I know Tylenol never works for me and I end up suffering more because of it.

Nope..thats the problem. I cannot take anything like aleve or advil due to complications 2 years ago.
I will see how I am in the AM and get to the DR..Im hoping theres Something I can take.
TY again everyone..Just took a HOT shower and it feels good, but, once im out..the pain is back..Its sooo frusturating..I told dh "Im sorry Im a wimp"..LOL I feel like such a baby!
Gonna go to the store and walk around, hopefully it will loosen up a bit. Im also worried about work, I work with the little ones and I dont know how Im picking them up! I think I'll call my boss tonight and give her the "head up"..depending on how I feel.

You should make DH massage it after a hot shower....while you're loosened up!

try to stretch it out- like basic yoga moves (you could probably find some online)... just go very slow, and try to extend your muscles as much as you can. it may help alleviate some of the pain until you get to the doctor.

feel better Dawn! I know how you feel i got hit in the back with pizza trays at work and it hit my lower back and today it hurts i feel like i was in a car accident thats how bad it hurts. keep taking the tylenol you will be ok!
