i am home sick today with the flu
and i called in today to make sure they had coverage for tonight knowing that one girl called in for tonight. when i did the girl on the other end of the phone said i don't think it is the flu it's just your allergies ummm i left work yesterday not even being able to keep my eyes open .. went strait to the docs office, waited for 45 min being a walk in (sleeping while waiting) and was told i had the flu. i have a sore throte, cough, fever, double ear infection , the chills , the runs (sorry i know tmi)and possible striep... umm now i think at work they all feel i am lying, and not to mention i had the doc. office fax a note to work right after my appointment, all the while sick and all i am worried that they had no coverage and was ready to go in this afternoon, am i wrong. i feel like crap ok vent over

AWWW... I wish I could be there to help I know how you get with the flu and it sux to hear you have it!!!! Eat alot of soup and drink lots of fluid.....luve ya!!

did you give me your flu?  i have the EXACT same symptons as you....and yes i was also told i must have 'allergies' even though i have none at all!!

feel better too!
thanks to all the well wishes i feel a little better but still tired.. but i have to go to work i still have no voice and still feeling like crap back off to bed

thanks sweetie. all day at work i had a fever on an off today but i made it through the day. i think because i slept so much (almost 23 hours) when it first started can not sleep now. i still have no voice and a small low grade fever. I HATE BEING SICK
