I am going to be debbie downer today...does anyone else feel...?

I am not sure if I am just having a bad day or what, but lately I feel like my life is not my own...like it's kind of out of control and I just do things for the sake of other's happiness instead of my own. Because of this I feel very torn about making certain decisions in my life because I'm more concerned about how other people are going to feel about my decisions rather then what will make me happy. I know, logically, that one should not do that and I should be making the decisions that are "right" for me. It either spins me into confusion because I don't know what the "right" thing is or I feel like I will be disappointing people, and am therefore a horrible person. It's not about any particular person in my life, but it's just the way I generally feel...like I should just do what everyone else wants so it'll be easier, even if it makes my life more difficult. Am I alone? I feel like i can't do anything right. Maybe I will feel differently tomorrow, I don't know. I am having a bad day.

Everyone has their down days. Try to read something inspirational or do a seach on people-pleasers & how not to be one. Maybe you'll find a new perspective on things.

Sometimes you have to put your happiness above other's. Feel better.

what decisions are you trying to make that would disappoint others?

you need to do what is right for you and your family. if others have a problem with it, they will eventually get over it.

i know how you feel and i get this way around the holidays.

i hope you feel better. it suckks to feel like you live your life for others. life is too short not to be happy.
