I am a Mommy to a hedgehog!
I posted on here that my son wanted a ball python for his 8th birthday. After much research I decided that was a no-go.
Instead we got a baby hedgehog and he has quickly become MY little baby. My son is so good with him even when Prickles gets a little grumpy and sticks up his quills.
We got him from Parrots of the World in Rockville Center and even though that guy from TV who is the owner is a complete JERK, I fell in love with our little guy and had to buy him.
Please say hello to Prickles!

I just took my kitten to the vet and someone was there with a hedgehog! They are so freaking adorable. I love Prickles. Enjoy him and Happy bday to your ds!!!

Yes, I myself had a python and you made the right decision.
It was heartbreaking for me to have to give my python to a reptile sanctuary after he got to be too big. It was best for him, but going forward I don't want to have to do that again!
So, this is much better! He's adorable.
That guy from News 12 is a jerk?!?! OMG explain!

YEARS ago my hubby and I went there to ask about ferrets. He acted like a condescending a-hole back then but we were teenagers so I figured he didn't take us seriously.
Fast forward to last year, I took my son in to just look around. His fish all had ick, and the bird room is like looking at a bird version of a puppy mill.
When went there to get Prickles (a friend of mine said he had them there), he was the same know it all jerk from 15 years ago. Nevermind the fact that is info on care was all wrong and he was making fun of people who buy hedgehogs and the animals themselves.
