I actually spoke to a mean person at Disney
I thought Disney is the happiest place on earth.
I call Disney as I had a customer who was in the airport and went to the bus as she had transfers and the bus driver told her she had no transfers. So of course she calls me screaming.
So I told her to hold.
Here's how my lovely conversation went
Disney: uh hello thank you for calling Disney this is Chuck how can I help you
Me: Hi, this is Melissa from Gullivers Travels and I hope you can assist me with something. Can you kindly pull reservation (insert res numer) for me.
Chuck: (inconvenience tone in voice) Sure. Can you repeat that again
Me: repeat number. (at that time my recall button is blinking. I kept the person on hold too long) Chuck can you kindly hold for 1 minute as I do have my customer on my othe line and I want to ensure them I am working on this.
Chuck: well hurry up because it will be only for a minute max two minutes
  
Me: (back on) ok I do apologize. Do you have any information for me
Chuck: what is the issue
Me: (explain the transfer thing)
Chuck: well of course the bus driver will not have them, they shouldnt have gone there. They need to go the disney welcome center and check in. You dont just go to your hotel room without checking in do you. So tell them to go to Side A level 1 and check in.
Me: good day chuck and please note I will be speaking to your manager and this call is recorded for quality assurance and I am sure your manager will be so glad to hear your attitude on the phone. CLICK!
UH!! I am sorry I inconvenience his day with my problem

Wow -- that is very un-disney like Pretty much every disney person I have spoken to is dripping with sugary sweetness.

I know. Whenever I get off the phone with someone from disney I feel like I have to run to the dentist because I'll have a cavity.
I understand if the last call before me was a pain and if that is the case then dont take the next call.
So undisney like. I was mad. BUT Mr. Chuck's manager I am sure wasnt too happy about it when I emailed him and left him a message  I just hope their arent more then one chuck's

I was actually thinking cavity when I wrote that.
The manager is not going to be pleased -- it seems the policy is for CM's to go over and above to accomodate guests (sometimes to the detriment of other guests, but that's my pet peeve  ).

Yeah their customer service telephone center will NEVER win any awards for their hospitality. They have a long well known reputation for being clueless as well as rude. You will see tons of negative comments about them on disboards It appears that since they are NOT actually AT disney but in another state that they don't have to have the disney personality.

Seriously...some of them there are horrible. For example...on Saturday our card was demagnitized, so we had to wait in a LOOOONNNNGGGG line to get a new one. We FINALLY get up to the window...all smiles and get the HUGEST attitude from the girl behind the counter. You would have thought we did something wrong with all the sighs and eye rolls we got.

Wow I've never had anyone that rude at Disney before!! I had my pocketbook stolen that had Disney Park Hoppers in it and everyone was so kind and helpful and I was able to get the remaining days put on new tickets... I'd definately write a letter that is unacceptable for Disney!!!!!!
