Huntington-area moms-- Christening party location ideas?

We are still trying to decide whether or not we should have DD baptized at my family's parish in Centerport where we were married, or down here where we are registered. Part of our decision making process is where to have the after party and whether it would be cost prohibitive. While we could potentially have the party at my parents' house afterwards, it would be cramped, so a restaurant would probably be the best option.

Would love to get some recommendations for places along the 25A corridor in Huntington, Centerport or Northport. If you happen to know pricing too, would love to know. We'd probably have no more than 40 people in attendance.

Mehan's is a pub with good food that has a private room


mill pond restaurant in centerport - may have a private room - really good food

not sure on prices because i use my parent's private club for parties - not sure if you family members or friends at the bay club, or huntington country club but they can be cheaper

I highly recommend Sal D's restauraunt right off 25 A. We had all three of my children's christening party there. You will have the restauraunt all to yourself and comfortably fits up to 50-60 people. Here is their website:Sal D's

We had DS's at at Umberto's on 25a - everything thought the food wa really good and the service and price were great!
