why do you need a lawyer?
Debt collection laws are very consumer friendly. One wrong move by a debt collector and you can sue the collector.
And the nice thing about the laws is the fact that you can sue for your attorney fees as well. So basically you are paying the attorney nothing (most will work on contingency if they feel you have a case).
