how to transfer your credit card balance
how, exactly, does this work?
you transfer the balance and then what? what about your old credit card account?
i REALLY need to pay off all my debt asap. i don't like owing money.

Nothing happens to your old account unless you ask them to close it which from what I've heard adversely affects your credit score so just transfer the balance and leave the other account/accounts open but don't use them.
