how to choose a new hair color?
I'm blonde, but it's more like dirty blonde lately. I colored it once last winter a very light brown. I want to do something a little darker but how do you find the right shade?

I usually post some pics on here of cute colors/cuts i saw.
Ask everyone for their opinion.
Whine about it for a month.
flip flop on which i think looks better
And still, do nothing about it.

Go to a salon you trust (ask around for recommendations) and tell the colorist what youre thinking. Leave it to the experts, dont do it yourself. TRUST ME

Ditto. I'll go into my colorist and say "I'm thinking black..." and he'll say "well, with your skintone, you might want (some other version) of black".

I like both of those alot.. Im afraid of committment so all I've ever done is gone to the drug store and used those ones that wash out in like 28 washes or something. That way I'm not really afraid to experiment, and worst case scenario I wash my hair nonstop till its gone.
