How to cheer you up after a bad day?
i was having a very bad day. i couldn't wait for 5:30. a co-worker brought in her new baby. once i saw the beautiful baby, everything seemed better. a baby seems to cheer everyone up

I get in super comfy clothes, lay in bed and watch SATC or something that I really enjoy watching. I just take time to myself. Sometimes I also take a hot and very long shower - no lights on in the bathroom (our bathroom has like 8 lights - it is like shea stadium in there with them on) so i just light like four candles which is so much softer and just take a LONG shower - sometimes with my IPOD in the docking station - sometimes just silence - depends - but that is how I unwind and feel better if I'm down. Keep that in mind for the next time you have a bad day and there is no little baby around to make you feel better!

i had the worst day yesterday at work--was so tired and crabby and hating life and the weather wasn't helping.
i picked up my niece and nephew at day care for my brother and when i walked in the teacher said "someone's mommy is here" (she was new--didn't know me) and my niece saw me and jumped out and shouted "TITI!!!!!!!!!!" and gave me the biggest hug---and my nephew followed suit.
the teacher said "oh--so THAT's what she's been saying all day"
and i said "what?"
and she responded with "well all day long she's been saying 'is my titi here yet? where's my titi? is she picking me up yet?' and i had no idea what she meant"
i explained that Titi was like "Auntie" in spanish--and it really brought a smile to my face knowing that she was so happy to know i was coming to get her.
