How to change a dogs name
So it looks like we will probably be taking the rescue. We will make our final decision tomorrow. We want to name her Khloe, and right now her name is Harley. She is 8 months old. Is that too old to change her name? How do we go about doing that?

Nope, I think it will be fine. I would load up with some treats and say her new name. Every time she responds I would give her a treat. Wait til she's not looking at you, call her name, she looks, she gets a treat. She doesn't look, I would wait at least 30 seconds and then try again. I bet she'll learn real fast!

I just changed my pup name from Daisy to Jackie O and after one day she is getting it...prob likes it better too

My dog was almost 2 when I got her and I changed her name.. she caught on to it very quickly. Every once in a while I'll test her with her old name and she doesn't respond to it anymore
