how old to hold own bottle?
Hi I am new to the site, I have twin boys who are going to be nine months old. When should I expect them to hold their own bottles?

My daughter was extremely lazy. She didn't hold her bottle until she was a year old! She let me do it for her. Then one day she just held it and the sippy cup.

Emily was seven months also when she started holding her bottle. It made life just a little bit more easier.

Alex can hold his own bottle for a few seconds (maybe 30), but he isn't too good at controlling it yet. He will hold it and then he winds up pushing it up onto his face. He started about 2 weeks ago and he was about 3 1/2 months old.
