how much to give for a college graduation party?
FH's cousin is having a college (undergrad) graduation party tonite - how much $$ should we give? Its at a catering hall, but in staten island so I dont know how fancy it is.
I bought him a book about being a teacher (thats what he went to school for), but we want to give $$ too.

FH probably has at least 30 first cousins.  we are not super close with this side of the family. pretty close though. only see them 2x per year maybe?

I just moved off SI, if you are coming from LI leave yourself PLENTY of time to get there, traffic is a b!tch on the weekends.

I had a grad party last year. The mode gift was $100, lots of people also gave 50. I think 50 and the book is fine, but $100 is also great!
