how much milk at 16 months?

DS is drinking about 20 ounces a day. He hasn't been eating all that much lately... could just be one of those weeks that he doens't have much of an appetite, but I realized yesterday that maybe he's just having too much milk.

We have the dr. this week for his check up... but i'm curious what everyone on here would say.

DD was drinking 18-24oz a day but at her last appointment the ped said to cut her off at around 16oz. She is 18 months.

about 16 oz. plus yogurt daily and cheese very often

When my DS went for his 18 month appointment my Ped said 18-24 ozs. was the recommendation for this age. At that point my DS was only drinking 18 ozs. and the doctor told me to up the amount because my DS grew taller, but did not gain any weight. Now my DS is 21 months and drinks about 24 ozs. a day.

DD drinks about 16-20 oz a day. She's 19 months.

DS drinks milk all day long on the weekends (not sure at daycare). I'd say at least 24-36 ounces. He only drinks milk and water. No juice.
Maybe 8-16 ounces of water.

I don't understand llimiting milk.

DS drinks 24 oz. a day about. Dr. said that was good.
