How much is IVF with Dr. B? Micro-IVF?
Does anyone know off hand the cost of IVF with Dr. Braverman?
Also, does he do any kind of "micro IVF" that I've been reading about? Do you think that is a good option for someone going for #2? We want to have 3 kids, but we don't want to have any leftover frosties after having our kids, KWIM?

I don't think that is including meds because some meds are covered by your insurance. Meds can vary from 500 to a couple of thousand. That 13K is a lot higher then what we paid in December. Im wondering why it went up so much and what is up with him not accepting certain insurances that he did a year ago.

I asked last month and IVF cost with Dr. B was $9250 + 500 for anesthesia.

That sounds about right, Im sure he goes up a little each year. Hopefully this cycle will work so I don't have to do anymore IVF's.

Really? That seems very expensive.
Yup thats what I thought....that and the fact he doesnt take my insurance has me moving on to Columbia. For that price I can get almost 2 cycles elsewhere.

I thought it was around 13k if you had insurance but then they end up settling around 7k with the insurance company. If it was out of pocket I had heard around 10k plus meds (which some insurance companies take care of). 13k out of pocket sounds way to high!!! I would love to know if the amount has change since IVF will be our next step with Dr.B in the next few months.

Thanks everyone. I'm going in there the week after next so I guess I can get a definite amount then.
He doesn't take my insurance anymore which really stinks, but I'm not covered for IVF anyway so I guess if we did that with him it might be okay.

That $13,000 may include ICSI and assisted hatching, if need be. That adds up a lot to the final bill.

I didn't do IVF with Dr. B but I did at 2 other places and $13,000 is about what I paid for both cycles plus meds.
