How much do you spend on clothes per year?
Just curious. I have no idea what I spend, but I haven't actually bought clothes in a while and I'm due for a new wardrobe. I never really restocked after losing 30 lbs a few years ago.

I spend a couple hundred each season.
I do one big shop in the beginning of the season and then I will pick up a few things along the way!

Same here.
I don't even wear all the clothes I have already.
The guilt of spending more money on clothes (when I'm supposed to be saving), has curbed my spending habits.
But I'd say I'm good for a few hundred each season. Half of that is spent on shoes, without a doubt.

I have no idea. It has to be in the thousands. I go through phases. Save save save. spend, spend, spend. Kind of makes the saving pointless. Ha!

Me too! I actually do keep track (not that that stops me) but I have a credit card that I use only for shopping, this way when the statement comes, I know exactly how much I've spent on clothes etc that month instead of lumping it in with real life expenses which goes on Amex

I don't keep track. I'm a SAHM so my buying sprees are limited, but I tend to buy quality over quantity, so I have been known to drop a few hundred in a store at a time.

I have cut back A LOT. I probably get a couple of new items (reasonably priced) a month - so maybe $100-$150 a month.

I don't want to know... but if you have an AMEX card, you can see how much you spent for the year in each merchant category, i.e. clothing, travel.
I took a look once-- and I never will again!
