how many birthday parties does your dc goto in a year?

dc gets invited pretty often to bdays of a lot of family friend's kid's. it's great that dc gets to party with a lot of little buddies and have fun but he hasn't started school yet and i'm thinking there will be even more when kindy starts? is there such a thing as too many parties?

DS is 4 and in Pre-K. I'd say we are invited to one birthday per month between school, family, neighbors, soccer teammates, etc.

We can't always attend though.

too many lol...he was invited to 8 kids in his classes party last year and then a bunch of family friends and what not

I'd say probably every other month on average, but K just started.

I posted in another thread, but I have noticed a trend too where the big parties at the places fizzle out once they get older.

I think they tend to do stuff with only a few close friends.

Not as many as I'd expected to be honest, and that's ok. Most of them have been for the other girls in her scout troop.
