How far along were you before taking classes/going on your hospital tour?

I called the hospital to find out about the hospital tour, babycare classes, breastfeeding, etc. and the woman who answered made me feel like I was way to early for it. I'm 17.5 weeks.

I was told Hospital Tour around 30 weeks.

Childbirth classes were set up by the nurse educator in my OB office. I'll be 31 weeks when we start the classes. My breast feeding class is scheduled for about 4 weeks before my due date.

Around 30 weeks. But I don't think 17.5 weeks is too early to sign up if you want a particular date. The classes at my hospital tend to fill up quickly.Chat Icon

I am 38+ weeks and I feel a tour is not necessary for us. I was not going to pay for the birthing classes either.

I took the childbirth class around 28 weeks. Most of the women were due in 1-3 months. I haven't signed up for any other class yet or for the hospital tour. The hospital tours are given every week so I'll probably take one next month. I'm also planning on taking 2 or 3 more classes (BFing, CPR and possibly child care) over the next month or so. I'm 30.5 weeks.
