How do you know if your kid is constipated?
Obviously if they're not pooping, but DS has strained like 4 times today (where I have sworn something would be in his diaper) and NOTHING. He makes the faces, noises, etc. and there hasn't been anything. Should I be worried?
And if he is, what helps relieve it???

When was his last BM?
Our ped told us that DD only going once a day or skipping a few days was ok.
How old is DS?

He is 7 months - has been eating cereal, fruits, and veggies 3xa day. I have noticed that his poop has def changed - but I know that happens when they eat more solids, but for him to strain 3x and not go today has me a little concerned - not that he didn't go, but the straining part. I got prunes to give him tomorrow so hopefully that will help. I am also going to stop the rice cereal for a while and give oatmeal or barley instead.
