I use the same thing and it works amazing. My bouncer looks like it has never even been used. His actual toys/ teethers (the small one's) I boil in hot water afterward I wipe them down with clorox anywhere spray. They also have it to go.

Soap and water. Same for his other toys. I really don't want to spray his toys with disinfectants--they are in his mouth all the time.

Vinegar for the big toys..

I keep straight vinegar in a spray bottle, spray and wipe with a clean cloth. COMPLETELY non-toxic and it disinfects. I don't trust anything else for areas they touch or put their mouth on.

Small plastic toys... top rack dishwasher.
For the same reason, I use Seventh Generation. No chlorine.

Fabric toys, high chair cover, bouncy seat cover, etc.... sanitizing cycle on the washing machine.

Thanks for posting! I never thought of vinegar for some reason, eventhough I use it to clean some parts of our house.

I use the Medela wipes for things that can't be put in the dishwasher. Other than that, I put them on the top rack.

I am try to ease myself into liking the smell of vinegar. Chat Icon
