How did you know when you were ready to ttc?
I am new to this board and was just looking for some advice.
When did you know you were ready to start ttc?

When I was 22 and worked with a girl who was my age and she had a baby. All of sudden I wanted one as well. 10 years later I still want one.

That was me only with seeing baby things, like clothes and toys. I couldn't help myself in Target passing the baby section. Now I steer clear of it.

After a year and a half of marriage I just started getting baby crazy...and I am now officially CRAZED and waiting for my BFP!

It happened gradually for us. DH and I just started talking about having a baby more and more, talking about names, picking out which room in our new house would be the baby's room, stuff like that. Then this spring, we said we were both ready, I went off the pill, and that was it! I think it's something you'll just "know." good luck!

I guess we just started talking more and more about it and once we were married 4 years, we just knew it was time. We felt comfortable emotionally and financially.
I think you just know when its time!

I'm a teacher so I love children. I've wanted to have a baby since I was 20. I just always wanted to be a mom. DH wasn't ready at that point. I guess it's just a feeling you get inside, I don't knwo how else to explain...
