How did everyone transition from formula to whole milk?
What did your dr say, How many ounces and how many days? Thanks!

After his first birthday and I used up all the formula, I just started on milk. I don't remember how many ounces I gave him, but we had no issues with the transition.

try 1 ounce mixed in with formula for a day or so and progress form there, unforytunately my DD is having trouble so he said to try rice milk so we are going to do that tomorrow..

I just started on milk, this kid will drink anything so I didn't have to worry. But if you haven't introduced any dairy to your kids diet, I wouldn't just give milk straight up.

At a dr.'s visit one time I heard her saying to mom that she needs to cut down the milk intake. The little girl was their for her 1 yr visit and her mom was giving her 24oz.
I am not their yet but I would think to give her the same amount of milk as formula now and then slowly cut back the oz.

Cold Turkey..
The day after he turned 1, I gave him milk in a sippy cup ( 8 oz) and he hasn't looked back

we did a gradual intro into her soy formula the same way princessmaris did it....1 oz milk/7 oz formula and every 3 days I increased the milk amount

I did an ounce every couple days or so mixed with formula. I had to go slowly since Kevin had digestive issues and was on ALimentum formula. Wound up by 2 oz I started to see crankiness and by 3 I pretty much had my colic baby back. So then I did the same procedure with soy milk and all was better. He is lactose intolerant just like his daddy.
