How Busy is Terminal 4 at JFK at 5-6-7ish a.m. on a Wed?

How Busy is Terminal 4 at JFK at 5-6-7ish a.m. on a Wed?
We are flying out Virgin America on Wed with a baby and tons of gear.  I am freaking out big time about the airport - going through security for the most part.
It seems like every time we are there, lines are long and it is so, so crowded.
How will it be that early in the morning?

Depends. You can check the website for JFK to see how many planes are leaving from T4 during that time. If you give yourself he usual 3 hours you should have more then enough time. Have a safe trip!

Not sure about T4, but we just flew Jet Blue to Aruba with DS. We went through security with him, the stroller, diaper bag, carry on suitcase and cooler with food. It was pretty busy but we had no problems at all (and they had to swab my stroller because it doesn't fit through the machine and swab my food containers). We got there 2 hours before our flight and had over an hour to spare once we were through security. Don't worry, you will be fine!

I flew out of T4 on a Thursday morning about 7ish flight; I remember there being a long line for security.
Flew out of American Airlines terminal a few months ago at 5am on a Saturday; got to the airport at 4; it was a ghost town!
