Fox 5 just said Wed would be 4-7" and Sundays storm will be around a foot. Too far in advance for that one to say the exact amount.

they are talking about storm for Sunday into Monday (according to ch 7) but no totals were discussed at all (which makes me a little nervous)

So far yes. Could be up to a foot. But the focus should be on what's happening tomorrow night.
News12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman
yes there is a storm possible for Sunday into Monday, could it give long island a foot of snow yes.. could it go out to sea yes. But if I was you I would focus on Tuesday night after 9pm into Wednesday morning. I am nervous and concerned about my loved ones going to work Wednesday morning. So I am going to focus on one storm in the near future 1st and try and make sure i am correct as possible. Too many what if's for Wednesday. What if we don't change to rain, what if we have 4 hours of freezing rain and Ice. Don't worry I am here for you and i will have more details Wednesday night, Thursday, Friday to talk about possible weekend storm. So forgive me if i don't answer many questions about a storm 5 days away when we could have a major storm Wednesday. Tuesday night into Wednesday 3 to 7 inches with 1/4 Ice. flight delays travels issues.. etc etc. thank you for coming to my page for your weather needs.
