Is there a "standard" or is it personal preference?

I just did invites for my sons Christmas party in 4x6.. I think that it would be too small for a Christmas card.. I think 5x7 is the best for that

Most places have 4x8 or 5x7. I think either is fine

I think you can't go wrogn with either.
That said...I am doing 5x7 for the Christmas card this year.
