Hit and Run this weekend
So, I went out to my 6 month old car on Saturday, to find it up on the sidewalk and in VERY bad shape. From the info I gathered from some neighbors, a car came flying down the block in the middle of the night, rammed into my car, back up off of it, and sped away.
I am so angry. It has $3,000 worth of damages. I need a new door, new fender, new tire and the suspension is messed up. Meanwhile, I've been parking miles away from stores in parking lots because I don't want anyone to bump their door into mine. 
It makes me so mad that my car is ruined because of some (most likely drunk) idiot.
I am, however, very grateful that no one was hurt.

My mechanic says I'll have my car back by Friday and it should look like new...but it just wont feel the same

Ughh! I would still report it to Police and see if another car winds up in a body shop with your color paint!
That does suck 'cause I know how hard it is to keep something new - and this wasn't even your fault!
