Emily likes them as well. Much more now then when we first tried them. SO far we've only tried the strawberry ones by earth's best but I got the gerber ones last night so we'll try them soon!

Re: Hey Marissa - thanks!

Chat Icon Hi Moms, I think you are talking about the Earth's Best Bars (with Elmo on the front)- Be aware that they are made in a plant that processes peanut products and it is NOT listed on the box at all!!!!!!!! I found out the hard way? My 2 year old is peanut allergic. I gave her a bar and she immediately had a reaction. I thought these products were safe-WRONG!!!!!!!! I called the company and they confirmed that there are no peanuts in the ingredients- but they are processed in the same place as other products with peanuts. I asked them why was it not printed on the box- they had no excuse- they just apologized profusely. I informed that a peanut allergy can be deadly. They sent me a form to fill out to get the info printed on the box. BIG DEAL! I'm sure most of you know that babies shouldn't have peanut until after 2 years old, so I would consider not feeding a baby any of the Earths Best products until after 2.

I use the Earth's Best brand and she has thankfully not had a reaction at all, although she did accidentally have something iwth peanuts before and she had a very quick immediate reaction to it. Maybe it depends on the batch you get? Definately for kids who have peanut allergies you've got to look out for stuff like this.

Re: Hey Marissa - thanks!

I buy either the nutrigrain ones or the Wegman's brand ones and they are comparable in nutrition and cheaper than Gerber. As most things. You have to read labels. Chat Icon
