Help with toilet training

I am in desperate need of help. My son is 3 1/2 a bit over that and he WAS fullly trained except for at night which I am not concerned aabout now. ANyway, the past month or so he is regrressing alot. He will still pee pee in the potty but WILL NOT poop in the potty anymore. I throw out so much underware and I will not put him back in pull ups - it will just make it worse. I am having a baby in a few weeks and I know that they do regress when the baby is born but why is it happening now? I really need some help as to what to do with this it is getting so frustating.Chat Icon . He know thats he should be going in the potty because he tells me poopy goes in the potty.

PLEASE if there is anyone that can help I would appreciate it. You can FM me anytime

Re: Help with toilet training

I wish I had an answer for you.

Joseph was completely trained since about 3 - 31/3. I can tell you that while it happens rarely now, Joseph (aged 4) just went through a stage where he was having regular accidents. In the end, I think it may have been a bug. My husband swore he thought he was doing it on purpose, until it turned into a full blown fever/diaherrea issue.

I think it was a wise decision not to bring back the pull-ups. If he's not completely trained, I think he would regress back. Does he go because he's too busy playing to go, can't make it in time? Is there a time of day you can nail down?

He was going. In fact. he even got out of the tub to poop. Now that i am due in 6 weeks, he is pooping in his pants again.
