help me choose a play kitchen
for months ive been trying to choose a play kitchen for DD and ive narrowed it to these two. price doesn't matter much (grandpa is buying it ) but i dont want anything too huge.
i like the idea of the kid kraft corner one and it wouldn't look half bad in my living room since its modern looking. that being said, the step2 one seems to be a bit more interactive with great electronic sounds and what not. its also not the worst looking thing although its not nearly as nice looking as the kidkraft one.
thoughts or experiences?? TIA!!
1. Kid Kraft Corner Kitchen in Espresso
2. Step2 Lifestyle Dream Kitchen
ETA - i guess what i am looking for here is more user opinions of either product (or similar ones) and if certain features matter more than others. will my kid have more fun with the electronic interactive stuff in the second one or will she really never miss it and have a ton of fun with the first one?

I'm just chiming in here because I feel like it
I say go with #2 .. the first one looks like an industrial kitchen.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
We got a very similar one to #2 for my twins' birthday in September and they have played with it every day since. It has all the same features just arranged differently.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
We have the lifestyle dream one you posted with a red counter. It is a fantastic play kitchen, but I also like the other one you posted. Just so you know they also make a flat one - so if your issue is that it is a corner unit they also have it as a one wall item too. Link I like both of them. My criteria would be: Storage, storage, storage. Which one hold more stuff so you can hide it away when you are not playing with it.

Completely obsessed with the first one and its flat counterpart. I've heard it's tall too, so it takes longer to grow out of. Although DS has played with #2 and I think maybe its more appealing to the younger set.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
My friend has number 1 and that is the one I was going to buy DD originally...but I went with a Step 2 Kitchen (the Deluxe). I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the Kidkraft one. Don't get me wrong, it is really cute, I just felt the plastic would wear and clean better. I also like all the bells and whistles the plastic one has!
Both are super cute, it's really preference. I had a hard time deciding

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
I just ordered DD the Step2 deluxe (was also considering the dream). I liked the look of the Kidkraft kitchens but felt like the step2s had more bells and whistles that would keep her entertained longer.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
I have #2 in my office right now (it was my nephews'), and my students love it. They really love all of the sounds, pressing the buttons on the stove, microwave and phone, etc.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
The one from one step ahead is really nice. Nicer than my kithcen LOL.
We are going with Step 2 Gourmet Cafe. I like the sounds and I have two toddlers so I wanted to give each of them space. Where am I going to fit it, well that's another story.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
I like the first one better.
We have the second one. The boys seem to like kitchens at other homes more than our own. It barely got any play at our house. We keep it around because other kids now play with it when we host playdates.

Re: help me choose a play kitchen
We have a Step 2 one very similar to your #2. Its' great, got it at Costco maybe 3 yrs ago or so. Both my kids loved all the bells and whistles, and it's held up really well.
