HELP! Andy's first christmas photos erased!
Where can I take the memory card to see if they can be restored? I was copying them to back them up and the @$%*&^# computer crashed and now the memory card is empty. I'm trying not to freak out but I'm really upset.

I dont have an answer to your question, but did you upload any to LIF? Maybe you can go back and save them?
This has happened to me more than once I now try and upload to ofoto or something like that.

No.  I had emailed a few to my dad, but only like 2 from each day. Oh well, it's better than having nothing.

There is software out there so dont do anything yet. Here's one I found in a simple online search. I cant vouch for the product but they say they guarantee you'll get your pics restored. Good luck, that totally s*cks! Of course its never some random boring pics.

Thanks! I saw this, but wasn't sure if it was safe. Now I'm totally paranoid. Maybe I'll run up to comp usa tomorrow to see if they can recommend a program.

I've had my computer crash while transferring & I was able to retrieve almost all from teh card. It had transferred partially to my computer but didn't delete the photos from the card because that's the last process it does after trasnferring all of the photos.
Hope the same for you! If you get in a real jam, I can ask one of our techs for help. He has recovery software & retrieved almost all of the photos from a co-worker's hard drive.

if you go into your send files from your email that you sent your dad u can download them to your computer and save them. hth
