Hello fresh vs blue apron

My SIL cannot eat glutten and I see both offer plans. Anyone recommend one over the other?

I just did blue apron for a few weeks. It was not terribly expensive but I still had to go to the grocery store so it certainly wasn't saving me money.

But I canceled because the meals are just not very kid friendly. The plan seems geared towards couples. My kids just didn't have the acquired taste for some of the dishes, lol.

We did a trial of both.

I found that Hello Fresh was less labor intensive. Blue Apron - the meal takes 30 minutes but, you are extremely busy prepping during that time.

They have the recipes online, check them out. When we weren't dieting, I'd just use those recipes as new ideas. Looking at them will give you a good idea about what is better for that person.

As a previous poster said, the recipes felt very labor intensive. Too much for me on a weekday. Even if the food showed up on my door. (I dont mind shopping once a week so I was looking more for ease then not have to shop.) From what I saw there was still a lot of chopping, etc the would still have to be done.

Hello Fresh!

We've tried all of them. Blue Apron i didn't find that easy to follow the directions and the flavors weren't there for us.

We've been doing hello fresh for almost a year now.
