Have you used Picture People or BRU for DC pictures?

I have an appointment Monday for picture people and i am wondering if i should keep it. has anyone used BRU? Where does everyone like to go???

and does anyone know a price range of what the pics actually cost??? we have no clue

I have only used BRU (Kiddie Kandids)... I have never had a problem with them and felt they handled Michael really well... honestly I went to Picture People once and didn't like it. We ended up NOT taking any pictures... I do not like the props (even though I'm not a proppy person) and the background is plain... Michael cried the entire time and I felt the kid (yes kid) didn't know how to handle babies very well, but that's JMO! Everyone has a different experience any where you go...

If you're looking for more cutesy shots with fun props, I think Kiddie Kandids would be better for that...

Prices - well that depends... If you're like me, it can cost you a fortune because you feel bad to NOT take a pic, lol... They have packages you can choose from!

I used BRU and I LOVED my pictures. Then I went to JCP and hated them. Next time I am just going to stick with BRU.

I used Picture People and I didn't love them. I take better pictures.

I've used both. I like Picture People better. Although for Christmas pics I like Kiddie Kandids.

My last experience with KK was horrible. The woman had no business working with babies/young children. I got "1" picture because she was to busy talking to her friend to catch my son smiling

I've used both. I spent a bunch of money once at KK at BRU. I save a lot on money using Picture People. I use them for every holiday/event. I joined their portrait club and I get free photos all the time. KK never gives me anything free unless I buy 6 sheets first I love to have tons of pictures of DD but I don't have the money to be buying these packages all the time so PP saves me tons. Their pics also scan real well and I can reproduce them but don't tell anyone. Either place you go they're both kids with expensive cameras, not really photographers so as long as you know that going in, you get what you pay for, no sitting fees and quick pics. Neither one is going to give you the quality you'd get from your wedding photographer. Bid diff is backgrounds v. no backgrounds just kid.

I have used KK and was very happy with them but they are expensive.

I forgot all about PP. I might have to try them next week

I have used both.. and I like the props of BRU but the prices at picture people are much better..

I joined the club too,
and if you go in with your free coupon you can go home with at least 2 poses.. the club is like 40 bucks...

I have used Sears, KK, and Picture People and have been happy with all.
